About Me

Geogie BudgettI have been extremely lucky to find a career that I love!

Since leaving school I have managed to escape the arduous business of sitting in an office, always with the excuse of fun and adventure – first I spent 3 months in Africa teaching children English, Maths and Sport before getting on my bicycle and biking the length of Britain with a friend for charity.

Australia was the next destination where I worked on a cattle station in the Northern Territory. I loved the way of life and people so much that over the past 4 years I have managed to return for varying periods of time. Most summers I have been home working for Kirtlington Park Polo Club. I love being back home in the summer, catching up with everyone and getting fully involved again with local life.

I am aware that I have not followed a ‘conventional’ path and feel very lucky to I have been able to keep very busy, do a lot of travelling and a lot of exercise! All of which are very important to me.

Last summer I took to my bicycle again with a friend and peddled our way up the scenic route (2600km) from the south most tip of Norway to the northern tip – hard work but a beautiful country and very rewarding. Again raising money for charites very important to me.

I now feel as if I have had enough adventure for a while and am looking forward to getting fully stuck into being the best personal trainer I can be.

2010 has been a cracking year with lots of excitng and exausting challenges. The gym has been up and running for nearly 10 months now and is going from strength to strength I never imagined work could be so rewarding and fun at the same time. Everyone has had amazing results due to their hard work and fantastic dedication to succeed in reaching their goals.

On a personal level I decided whilst everyone else was putting in enormous effort to reach their goals I should probably find some of my own so in 2010 I took up running (i’ve always been into bikes and weights!) and completed the Newham 10km race, the Great North Run, the Great South Run and as a highlight the New York Marathon. 2010 has been a fantastic year and I look forward to the challenges of 2011.
